The Paper Touch is a wallpaper installation business located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit thepapertouch.com, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we use your information to answer you, run our business and understand how people find us. We never sell it.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we receive what you type in:
- Quote requests: your name, email, phone number, city, project type, how you heard about us and any details about your room.
- Academy interest list: your name, email, phone number, city, the type of class you’re interested in, your experience and any message.
- Wallpaper line list: your name, email and favorite design.
If you call, text or email us, we also have whatever you share in that conversation.
How we use it
- To reply to you, prepare quotes, schedule work and follow up on projects.
- To send class dates, Academy details and news about our wallpaper line, if you asked to hear about them.
- To keep records of our work and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- To understand how visitors use the site and to show our ads to people likely to be interested in them.
You can ask us to stop emailing you at any time by replying to any email or writing to newfriends@thepapertouch.com.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools that collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your general location (city level), the site that sent you and whether you tapped our phone number, opened our social links or sent a form. We use these tools through Google Tag Manager:

We don’t send the contents of your forms (your name, email or phone number) to Google or Meta. If we add other advertising or analytics tools, we will list them here.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Control the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta ad preferences.
- Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the business: our website host, which receives and stores form submissions, our email provider, and the analytics and advertising tools listed above. We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and emails for as long as we need them to work with you and keep business records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you. Depending on the state you live in, you may have additional rights, such as opting out of targeted advertising. Email newfriends@thepapertouch.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it. No website is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through our forms.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
